OPO - Monitoring the reflectivity and scattering of telescope's coatings

OPO - Optical metrology instruments

Welcome on the website of OPO research and development workshop, manufacturer of optical metrology instruments for the monitoring of telescope's mirror coatings.

Our instruments CT7 and CT7a are benchmarks in the field, they are the improved successors of the highly regarded Iris instrument. All these instruments were conceived and developed by Dr Sc Daniel Malaise - for those with a good memory, OPO was previously known as DMO Optical solutions.

As of january 2021, the new Cherenkov version of the CT7 is available, with highly accurate detectors reaching to vUV wavelengths, specially developed at the request of institutes studying the Cherenkov radiations.
